All of the movements are taught safely and effectively under the close supervision of our thoroughly trained Cross Fit Kids Coach. The cognitive, neurological, and motor development focus of our classes will allow each child to experience improved athletic aptitude in all areas of sport and fitness.Ultimately, our aim is to lay the ground work that will help these children develop into well-rounded athletes who will be better at any and every sport and physical activity that they engage in.

Cross Fit Kids was created to help children develop a lifelong love of fitness.

In a group setting, children participate in fun and engaging workouts and games that are designed with the goal of teaching them that physical activity is a lot of fun.

The activities involved are rarely repeated, so kids never get bored and the novelty of each session keeps them excited about participating.

The functional movements involve exercises that are fundamental to all things that kids need to do when they play — pull, push, run, throw, climb, lift and jump.

He also has more than 15 years of experience as an educator.

Sco Jo, as he’s known around the gym, has a 8 year-old and a 11 year-old that both regularly participate in Cross Fit Kids.

This coming Monday, we’ll be starting a healthy debut singles eating challenge based on the Paleolithic diet.

There is no cost and all members are encouraged to participate.

We’ll have a sign-up sheet at the gym to record our progress over 30 days.
